Lt. Col. Alexander Lombardi dutifully served his country for 36 years, primarily in the U. S. Air Force. His stations were all around the world and most notably, he and his family lived in Berlin during post-WWII occupations, and also enjoyed four amazing years in Naples, Italy. During Lt. Col. Alexander’s Key West station duty, the well-documented Bay of Pigs occurred. In this capacity, President Kennedy visited Lt. Col. Lombardi’s office and sat at his desk to sign documents. Two clocks in this very office are in the auction and are just two of the unique, historic, and very collectible pieces being offered. Rightly so, the family has retained ownership of much of their parents’ possessions, but we are delighted to bring a wide array of collectible pieces to auction. We encourage you to attend the preview on May 6, noon to 5PM, to view the estate’s collections.
